My latest finish is this denim strip quilt that I shared a pic of already. I pieced a back, made some Franken-batting and did some stitch in the ditch and diagonal quilting on. Not sure who it’s going to yet so I’ll put it in the gift stash. Her
What is Frankenstein-batting?!?!? I like the diagonal quilting with the slashes on the front.
ReplyDeleteFranken-batting is when you stitch diff pieces(and weights/thicknesses) of batting together. I normally keep the same kind together but the scrap batting box was getting pretty low.
