Christmas quilt

So here's a couple of pics of Mere's Christmas quilt.  I made a queen size quilt, two shams(with Mere quilted into them) and a reversible throw pillow. I backed it with a grey sheet that I inserted a strip into. I think it might be a while before I try to make a queen size quilt again.
Love the signs you're making.  Keep the pics coming.

Christmas Eve Crafts

Merry Christmas!!
We spent the weekend out in Oungre for the Wock family Christmas and the we had Christmas with Mr Me's family on Sunday!! Mr Me went to work today and do did I!!! I worked at fun stuff, not real work!! I made two signs and did all the laundry!! It doesn't sound like much but I'm exhausted!! I'm sure I did a fee more things like move the vehicles bc the snow removal crew was out today and then I took my computer to the hospital! The screen quit, actually you could say that there's a light bulb burnt out! I've been using Mr Me's iPad and a screen that I borrowed! I figured this was he best time to get it fixed!! I can still do everything that I need to on my phone or using the iPad!! Here are a few pictures of what I did today!!

Welcome Sign

Have I told you that I'm loving my new toy?!?!? I know Mr Her said not to tell you but I think you would live this for your classroom!!

I love "welcome signs"! I just happened to have a piece of barn wood ridding around in my truck that needed to be used!! I think I'm going to paint the letters white or grey or green or blus maybe red or maybe I used think about it a little more!! Here's a sneak peak:

Horoscope fun!!

So my friend, Tanis, sends me this text that you see below!!

I made her a Merry Christmas sign really fast!! In fact the paint was still wet when I took it to her!!

I think I'm going to have to make one for myself!!  I started out by tracing the letters and then figured that it was going to take too long.  So I free handed the letters with a silver marker and then painted as best and fast as I could.  I think it turned out pretty good!!

The best part of going to Tanis' place, is coming home with great "Larry" cookies and homemade butterscotch fudge ice cream topping!!  I think I need to go to the Tanis Savill cooking school!!

5 more days until holidays ... yeah!!!

I also got some great green and red material!! It took me a while to figure out why I bought it but I remembered!! I'm going to use it to make the swirl Christmas tree pattern!!

Feedsack Curtains

I can't remember if I have showed you these curtains yet. I took 3 sacks and ironed them in half and pinned them to the curtain rod circle thingies!! I really like them. They are in the spare bedroom/sewing room/office!!

Seed-sack Pillows

Hey there ...
Mr ME and I have been collecting seed-sacks for a while. I started these a few weeks ago and just had to stitch up the bottoms. I finished them up after school today while drinking my first paralyzer of the night!

Stocking check in

Hi there,

Just wondering how the great stocking production is going.  I finished up a small afghan yesterday for a co-worker who is undergoing chemo.  I put lots of prayers, hugs and good wishes in it so hopefully it will help her on Monday.  I;m pretty proud of myself, I haven't finished an afghan (other than baby sized) for a long time.I've finished a couple of toques also.

One Done ... 12 to go!!

Hi!! I just added the blogger app to my iPhone. I hope this will be a faster method for me to blog with bc all my pictures are on my phone these days.

I took today off just because! I have spent most of the assembling stockings!! I have all the fronts done and all the backs done. Next step is to sew them together, add some batting, make the lining and then sew them together!! I figure I will do one a least a day from here on in until I'm done!!
Happy Monday

Finding some motivation

Okay I actually have accomplished something today after being in a bit of stall.  It's not a lot but I made one of the pillow shams for Mere's quilt.  Not difficult to do but have now lost motivation to make the second one.  Maybe a coffee will motivate me.
What have you been up to?
