Good evening,
Photo evidence of the great palliative care quilt retreat. Me and Her
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!
Good morning,
I recently attempted my first pair of leather moccasins. I still have lots of room for improvement but I’m pretty proud of how they turned out. Her
Good morning ladies,
It’s a stay inside kind of weekend so I’m working on some lap quilts for palliative care at the hospital. They give small quilts to patients and then their family can take the quilt home and remember their family member with it. It’s my Lent project this year. What are you ladies up to? Her
Playing with some of the traditional elements of Métis beading with this piece.
It’s even lined! What are you crafty folks up to? Her |
Good morning ladies,
I recently completed a little prototype pouch. I wanted to try beading on denim, kind of a play on the Metis habit of beading everything. The flower is very cute, I would maybe add a couple of side vines next time. I added some coordinating fabric for the drawstring part and made a small pouch. I even lined it! Not sure who it’s going to be gifted to but I’m happy with how it turned out. What’s up with you ladies?

Happy New Year fellow bloggers,
I can’t comment again on posts! Anyway I’m impressed with your productivity Me. I’m at the design stage in beading.
