Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!! Don’t look too close. There are 3 rows that don’t line up. The top white rectangle is about 6 inches narrower than it is suppose to be because I ran out of material. Why? Let me explain! </div><div><br></div><div>There are little triangles at the top and bottom of each row. The bottom triangles lined up no problem but the top triangles were way too small. I cut a long strip of material and added it to the top, then cut it to the right shape </div><div><br></div><div>There are a few added pieces of material to make thing fit together. I wanted to try beading on denim, kind of a play on the Metis habit of beading everything. The flower is very cute, I would maybe add a couple of side vines next time. I added some coordinating fabric for the drawstring part and made a small pouch. I even lined it! Not sure who it’s going to be gifted to but I’m happy with how it turned out. What’s up with you ladies?</p><p>Her</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPrx0Htg8HCwTTasP8frIGznSXjsR-0rkiSb0Y3n0g5NvwqJmE_SGi6zqabu7WxmI9azNqQmTvXSis-XdZlRAFqf0vdFccu_2z2eVtLMPqq2Maq5F7rRKKwAABNf-6u75XCxPlDY46-eVbS7PWWpZcUdJnG07EBiyrKn1EYhKtuzwif2VSFaxqVAm8oCs5/s3447/IMG_3382.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3447" data-original-width="2720" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPrx0Htg8HCwTTasP8frIGznSXjsR-0rkiSb0Y3n0g5NvwqJmE_SGi6zqabu7WxmI9azNqQmTvXSis-XdZlRAFqf0vdFccu_2z2eVtLMPqq2Maq5F7rRKKwAABNf-6u75XCxPlDY46-eVbS7PWWpZcUdJnG07EBiyrKn1EYhKtuzwif2VSFaxqVAm8oCs5/w506-h640/IMG_3382.jpeg" width="506" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvpQLeGCkgWXTgDAdCQiBqMIHoZ663QL_RZsyWAk8mYrTvnPCzA5OIUNOX2XEAYoTCi9K6YTsS4t-XHoJs9I_Jdz2pK5LuoSU-cDDuEeRoIhUyiL4E_RuMIHGZeqHuDlq2jcg0DoQoZDRft9Ts_S4HLvyGg1iv_zlwaARd1eNvZka8to8seprG_p8nIAdX/s4032/IMG_3383.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvpQLeGCkgWXTgDAdCQiBqMIHoZ663QL_RZsyWAk8mYrTvnPCzA5OIUNOX2XEAYoTCi9K6YTsS4t-XHoJs9I_Jdz2pK5LuoSU-cDDuEeRoIhUyiL4E_RuMIHGZeqHuDlq2jcg0DoQoZDRft9Ts_S4HLvyGg1iv_zlwaARd1eNvZka8to8seprG_p8nIAdX/w300-h400/IMG_3383.jpeg" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Herhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16450182426151613353noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4414186434419230708.post-22740997099221576402024-01-07T20:27:00.001-06:002024-01-07T20:27:27.089-06:00Pillows<div>Over the years, we have collected a number of grain sacs from all over. No deadline! I got started on it right away and was able to get 3/4 of it done. Ran out of material and couldn’t find it. Then it got put on the back burner and buried under everything else. Well, I finally found enough material to finish it or so I thought I did. It’s close to the original material - the new material has the same name and number but is different from the first material. So basically, the pre-Covid and post covid materials aren’t the same!! <div><br></div><div>She wanted a queen size throw and that’s what I made. </div><div><img id="id_5e99_eef0_1b12_2029" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/drive-viewer/AEYmBYRlSpMO7YCua-a7EmrDO4kXH4IbU0tDqEGiV04GJ7aYhwcutbUj6r0LXX_VrSwiDlf-yGaGlHMwSB3aU_cTFlHFEVIZ" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 353px; height: auto;"><br><br><img id="id_5d6e_e627_74ff_706f" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/drive-viewer/AEYmBYQUERi8PjHw1SQIz_6qSJpsVEKzAwVOe06Hs5FOOD8vCVTdMLk8_CAs44-RXqxxWmkOxG6FYLHa_-oZpIcg8FSIr--6" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 353px; height: auto;"><br><br><img id="id_9f11_d465_e26c_60f8" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/drive-viewer/AEYmBYQu6qelIe_d8ezfvUjhAOze-qke1-T02rW2h9eusjqZVEcsXpDngx-zDn99nYqI_HV3Dnwlq43A4jq9SQ6zuP6XgvHE" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 353px; height: auto;"><br><br><img id="id_e486_df2_8927_5134" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/drive-viewer/AEYmBYQ3x2VAren3_Qz-s4WKZGt8EnhGuLuvKLlzgeJpEQFOGH-L7VPZ-tlydUGL6TOqH94DqTt_UJLyq2TiuDGNIJjWEtxD" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 353px; height: auto;"><br><br>I quilted it by stitching in the ditch. <div>I love love love the quilt pattern called Meadowland. </div><div>This quilt is super easy to do, I would dare to say beginner friendly!! It makes it look like you had to out a lot of thought and effort into material selection, placement and cutting but in all reality you don’t. The pattern does it all for you. </div><div><br></div><div><img id="id_5296_6766_38ac_dc3a" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/drive-viewer/AEYmBYTXqW1yFK_S9TQvZyDxbPwVKSBQjO3rHlQl1gopWrq9g-2sdCXzPpVM30zRNkOJWRzA0C9xbFCCgs5Pox0eEJLZcyBrIA" alt="" title="" tooltip="" style="width: 353px; height: auto;"><br><br>I discovered curved corners a while back and gave it a try in this one.
