I like the way the flash brings out the bright colours. This material looks much duller that it appears in the picture.

Sewing after midnight!!!
Hey ... it's me again!!! I was sewing away while watching Private Practice (which was a great episode by the way). I laid out the strip tube that I had sewn and cut away just like I was suppose to. When I got to the end of the strip, I grabbed a square and went to iron it. This is when I discovered that I had sewing wrong sides together therefore I wasted a whole strip! Yep ... the whole strip... straight into the scrap bin. I am not too happy! This may through my pattern off now. So, I am blaming this on two things: 1) watching tv while sewing and 2) I shouldn't sew after midnight without you!!!

Love it. I blame the mistakes on the t.v. Are you going to lay out the squares in rows or are you going to put them on point?

I hadn't thought about how I was going to lay the squares out. I think on point would look cook but I am not sure. It depends on how many squares I end up with. There are 10 or 11 colours in the jelly roll so I could do it on point and then fill in the outside squares with solid square. This is going to take some thinking!! Have fun at the quilt store!!!
