Matching Christmas Quilts

I was asked to make 2 Christmas quilts for two cute little boys!! 

A bag of Christmas clothes that these two brothers have wore, a plan, red and green fabric and thread, a Hallmark movie to set the mood and some bubly to keep me hydrated!! 

Two piles of clothes and a sketched plan. As I made the first quilt, I designed the second quilt. 

Jessie asked me to add one of her pj shirts into the quilt. I used as much of it as I could!!

Here are the finished quilts:

The boys love Mickey Mouse. I was able to find two fleece blankets to use for the backs!

Balcony decor

So I was wanting to add something to my balcony this year. I went to Pinterest for some inspiration. 

This is what I came up with.

I started with 12 kid plastic hangers.

Then I made a snowflake shape and zip tied it together.

Then I decided to add some extra snowflakes to it.

Then I painted and attached the snowflakes.

I made one to see if I would like it and decided to make 2 more.

This is them hung up.

This is a week later when I decided I needed to have two more.
