Vintage Lace

What does a teacher do when she realizes summer is over as of Thursday??!

She works at finishing as many quilts as she can!!

I started the Vintage Lace quilt in 2020!  Here’s the proof:

One of the quilters that was in the test group pointed out I had an error! Imagine that!!

Anyways, I fixed it and kept going. This one has sat on the shelf because I used the turquoise material to finish something else and had to order more. Just order more - sounds so easy! Let me tell you, it wasn’t!! It took a while to find enough to finish the front and for the back! I found some and finally got the top finished.

Here’s the finished product:

It was a little windy when I was trying to take a picture.

Here’s my first picture!!

I have to wait for my roll of batting to arrive before I can quilt this and put it in my bed.

I may add a small 3 inch border before I quilt it. Not 100% sure yet!!

Next project?? Maybe some paper piecing or maybe finish another quilt!!

Happy Sunday!

  1. Your sew-Jo is very strong indeed. I love the turquoise colour but I know there is a million different shades of it so matching can be a pain. Can’t wait to see how you quilt it. Her
