This is something I haven't done in awhile, painting porcelain.
Meet my friend the snowman.
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

This is my kind of quilting, sorry Me and Her. This is called Quilt Magic. This one was a fairly simple to complete so it didn't take long, I was able to get it done over a couple of days.
The kit comes with a prepared hard foam board, pattern pieces and material.
This is the foam board. I forgot to take the picture before starting, this is just the fabric that wraps around the back of the board and one piece of the picture.
Then you get a diagram to follow along with pattern pieces to cut out of the fabric provided.
Then you push the fabric down into the lines on the board. Eventually you get a completed board.
Good morning ladies,
First off, I can’t comment on posts for some reason right now. Crafter, your wreath was amazing with just the leaves but all together, it was gorgeous.
So I think I’ve finally made My colleague Rob’s retirement quilt. Every year his welcome back board has stars on it so I’ve made scrappy stars quilted with some freehand Baptist fans. I’ll wait till June to give it to him even though I want to give it to him now. The pictures aren’t great but you get the idea. What’s up in your creative worlds? Her
This project was completed for a friend.
I borrowed some motivation from The Crafter to finish this scrappy star last weekend. It has a scrappy back and is quilted with wavy- straight lines. It’s probably a retirement gift.
What have you ladies been up to?
