Kawandi Two

  Good morning ladies,

  I created a Saskatchewan inspired art piece.  Kawandi is about re-using so the Siddi probably wouldn’t be making art ( they’re busy just trying to survive) but I used scraps and their method to create my piece.  I used hand quilting thread , with larger stitches, to start.

 

Then I used 3 strands 

Of embroidery floss to create grass, swaths, and wind.

Finally, I created some detail the house.
