This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

Heatwave
Hi there,
So here's a couple of pics of the heatwave quilt I just finished. I ended up quilting it in straight-ish lines of different stitch lengths in all different directions. It was a nice break from reading patterns and cutting things straight.
It's all Kona cotton solids that I got in Saskatoon. It's based on the waverunner idea on the Bumblebeans site. You just cut(without a ruler), sew and then square it up. Super easy. I might do something similar again with more solids, I'm really liking the look.
I love this one!! I like the solid colours and no prints!!! Where did you find this pattern? I would like to make one like it!
