Quilt Design 101

Hello ...

So I have decided to make my own quilt design. Here is my first square:

I suppose I should be writing down the measurements but I haven't. I think I screwed up on the white strips ... I think I cut them 2.5 inches and I should of cut them 2.75 inches... so the finished size is 2.25 inches.

Here are the colours that I am going to use:

They came from a jelly roll that I picked up at Wal-Mart for $15.00!!! I used the strip tube technique to make my 1/2 square triangles. I love that ruler!!!
