Crafting with Her.

 The first craft day was chosen by her. It was a painting project. 

The next project was my choice (the Crafter).

We started with some small terra cotta pots.

Then we painted them.

Then we took some socks and filled with rice, stones and fiberfill.

Then we took a mop apart to build some beards. Her took the time to separate the mop strands, to make it fuller looking.

We added painted Styrofoam balls for noses, and some embellishments to the pots. 

GNOMES that is what we ended up with.

Quilt Cave Designs

 Good morning ladies,

Here’s the finished strip quilt from our Easter Crafty Retreat.  I ended up using a wavy stitch to quilt in the middle of strips 1 and 4 and over the seam of strips 2 and 3. The zigzag stitch was a little to linear for the wonkiness. I think it looks great. ( I accidentally set the colour on the pic as vivid so those pinks really aren’t as wild as they look.) Thanks for all the help, we make a great team.   Her

Spring Decor

 I decided that I needed something new when it came to Spring decor.  I got a wood sign and painted it. I have learned over the years it helps to paint the sign with white paint first, it acts like a primer. Then I chose some "Spring" like colors to complete it.
