June was busy in many ways. Besides the retirement gifts for my staff I also made a rag quilt for a former student who became a colleague and is now moving to B.C. For her husband’s job. I also made a super scrappy denim quilt for an awesome E.A. From Andy’s school who retired. It’s super scrappy like her, think cocktail waitress with mileage. Both brought tears but in a good way. What’s up with you lovely ladies? Her
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

3-4 S project
Good morning ladies,
Happy summer break! While I may have been a slacker in the blogging department I have actually been busy in the quilt department. I haven’t hand quilted in a very long time so I hope I did everything right. It was a pretty long process because eight and nine year olds are not very speedy, think about 45-60 seconds a stitch. When it was done I quarantined it for a coup,e of weeks. Ames came to visit n the last day and we surprised him with it. For his facebook post it seems like he understood the intent of the quilt. Her
