Only a few more to go!
I am trying to randomly pick the what colours to add. Here’s my strategy.
Iron, cut and toss into the bucket.
It seems to be working!! I’m excited to see how this is going to turn out.
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!
Good everything ladies,
My latest finish is this denim strip quilt that I shared a pic of already. I pieced a back, made some Franken-batting and did some stitch in the ditch and diagonal quilting on. Not sure who it’s going to yet so I’ll put it in the gift stash. Her
Good evening ladies,
I give you two mini quilts that are flower inspired. The tulip is for my class door in April and the pansy is for Sharen for Easter. They are made from denim and scraps. Her
Good evening ladies,
An idea for scraps I saw tonight that I might try. http://thelongthread.com/2011/03/14/crossed-quilt-block/
Good morning ladies,
Last night I worked on a small(42*55) denim quilt with strips leftover from Sharen’s quilt. I was loosely inspired by Gudrun’s quilt I had seen last year. I used some leftover flannel from Me. I don’t know if I have enough scraps to make a back, I guess i’ll Figure that out today. Het
It’s done, a whole month early! Sharen’s denim beach quilt is denim strips with a pieced canvas-like back. I quilted in the ditch every other strip and through the middle of each strip. It’s about 48 by 60, perfect for the beach.
I wanted something new for spring for my balcony. I also wanted something that was easy and not that expensive.
Some dollar tree supplies and some glue.
