A few things to share

Well ladies, I haven’t been very productive lately. Having a full time job is really getting in my way!

First is: this green triangle scarf. Yep, you read that right: 🔺 shaped scarf!!! It’s not a very good triangle. It’s awkward! I did invent the pattern myself. I may take it apart, just saying!!

#2 - I took apart the giant red/white nine patch quilt and am making it into a donation quilt for the club volleyball program in town. I’m going to put a fuzzy backing on it to make it all cuddly.

I need to find an old gun case so I can do this. It would require me to finish a few more quilts!!

Hope you are both keeping well

Blue flowers

The color theme for the party is shades of blue and I added in silver.  It is not easy to find blue fake flowers for cheap, because they likely won't be kept afterwards. So today's project was to make your own.

I knew there was a reason I saved this old muffin tin, perfect vessel for flower dipping.

The final flowers don't look to bad, it will be interesting to see what they are like after drying overnight.

I also have the paint on the hands to show I was involved.

Beanie season

  Good evening ladies,

It’s that time of year where I make beanies for the Lighthouse.  Always a great way to use up some yarn and get some warmth to those who need it.  New pattern below with some variegated yarn I had.  Her

Bday decor

So I decided to include music decor into the bday decor, because Grandma loves to play her piano.

So I made music paper flowers. I would have tea stained them but I didn't have any.

Then I made treble clef wire place holders.

Bday plans and stocking work

I have been helping to plan my Grandma's 90th bday party, so a lot of my creative energy has gone that way.

I finally sat down today and worked on the stocking for a couple hours.

Must find sew-jo

 Good morning ladies,

Productivity of any kind has been lacking lately but today I am determined to find a bit of it. Do you ladies have any to spare. Also,I hung up travel pics by myself!

I feel like this stripy pattern might be a good way to find some jo.

Some more fall decor

I am one of those people that decorate their balcony, even though I am on the second floor and no one can really see it.

I started with the constructing the wreath, because I had all the materials to do so. I hung it up and realized it was too small.  So a quick trip to Dollar Tree for me to get the pumpkins.

A Bit of This and That!

I have had an unproductive weekend. I realized that I put a square in to this giant block the wrong way. What made it worse is I removed the wrong one so I had to put two back into this 🤦🏼‍♀️

It’s done now, thank goodness.

I also started another crochet project.

There will be a grey stripe next!

Ginger decided to eat a wasp. It didn’t turn out well for her.

Happy Sunday

Baby gifts,

   Good morning ladies,

I actually gave a baby giftand a toddler gift on time for once.  My neighbor and fellow teacher is expecting right away so I had a quilt for her and her cute daughter.

Of course, more masks as well for mom and the blondes.

What are you ladies up to?  Her
