A Little Productivity

I tried to sit down to get some quilting done but my focus these days is pretty poor. I did manage to cut some strips and started to sew them together. 

I did get my new quilt display up on the wall. I want to make a sleeve to go around the wood so I don’t get slivers in the quilts. 

I need to get back to work but my motivation is disappearing quickly.

 Good morning ladies,

  With the weather being blah yesterday, I retreated to the quilt cave.  I finished a baby girl quilt I had made a while ago with some wavy quilting.

Then , I dug in the scrap bag Me had brought and found these triangles and a skinny strip of aqua. I pieced a backing and some batting and made a little baby quilt.

I’m making scrappy crumb rectangles for a future project. Not sure yet what it will be. Just sewing as a means of self care. Hope you’re taking care of yourself

Saturday morning photo editing.

 Okay, it’s now afternoon but i’m Nearly done Chase’s super hero photos. Other people have kids jump off a ladder to get the best shot, right?

New autumn decor

 I was scrolling through Pinterest looking for new Autumn decor and came across something and then made it work with some stuff I had.

I had to go buy the splatter pans, and berries. Everything else was in the craft bins.

First step was to cut off two handles, then hook them together and then I glued on the twine.

I went through three different ribbons before I found one I liked.

It is pretty simple looking.

It is my new Autumn kitchen decor.
