I decided to paint some ornaments for a friend's birthday present.
I bought them like this.
Then I painted them.
Then I whitewashed them to tone the color down.
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

Clothespin snowflakes
This is what I started with, as well as my hot glue gun and white paint.
The first thing you have to do is pull all the clothespins apart.
Then you put the clothespins back to back and glue them. Then glued all the pairs to together.
Then you paint them. I then added a hanger.
I made some of these from medium-sized clothespins and they look good too.

More felt Christmas ornaments
A friend and I tackled more felt Christmas tree ornaments.
Here are the materials with started with. The patterned material on the left was taken from Her's scrap bin.
I completed these cute squirrels.
My friend did these Rudolphs
I made these sheep.
My friend did these moose.
I did these polar bears.
We had lots of fun I think we have enough to finally fill the tree.
