Hi or should I say "Howdy"!!!
I hope the rodeo weekend is going well! I ran down to Noonan to pick up my new material, ruler and pattern. I was so excited to get it! When I opened it up, I discovered that I forgot to order the pattern! I was so pissed! I set aside time to cut and sew with this new material and I forgot to order the pattern. I suck! So I got online with I got home and ordered the pattern. I'll just have to do it next weekend or the weekend after that!! So instead of working on the new pattern, I thought I should try to finish up a UFO. So, I worked on the red/white nine patch quilt. I need to make 180+ nine patch squares. I'm only at 110! So I have a few to go and may not have enough red material!!
Here are a few pictures of the new material ... I love it more now that I got it than when I saw it online!!!!
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

I do accomplish stuff-sometime
Hi,
So our real computer has died and I had to get a card reader for our old computer and that's why I haven't blogged in a while. ( That's what I'm going with, anyway) I made a thank-you quilt for Penny when she left our class for her dream job.
This is one of those projects where I decided to make a quilt the day before I had to give it to someone. Luckily I have enough fabric at home to make a complete quilt when the mood strikes.
I also finished my scrappy quilt for a colleagues wedding. She's kind of scrappy so it suits her well.
Finally, Cor and I made some quilt for the hospital with some of the fabric that you brought up. We were able to make six quilts and I had two already made. We dropped them off at the womens health unit at the hospital today.
So I guess I have accomplished something in the last few weeks.

New Material ... Adding another one to the to-do list!!
Hey ...
Check out the fabric collection called PB&J by Basic Grey! I just ordered enough to make a King size 'Ballerina' (by Jay Bird quilts) quilt! I didn't order the material with the letters. I ordered the dark grey for the background and then choose 3 oranges, 3 yellows, 3 greens, and 4 whites. I'm going to make it for our bed! Hopefully Mr. Her likes it!!
What have you been up to lately?
I'm ready for weekend! Two more days!
