I bought this hook a couple three years ago! Finally Her has found a great tutorial to teach me how to do it!! Yeah!! Now I'm using up all the left over yarn to make a great afghan!!
Here's what I've got started:
This is how we keep up with each other and the projects we work on. Her is the one who doesn't pin and quilts her way! The Crafter, who won't crochet, is a painter, a stitcher and has a few more talents up her sleeve. Me is the quilter that pins, irons and measures twice!!!

Tool Case
Hey ...
My father-in-law needed a new tool case for his wrench set.
Here's the old one and the new one:

Sewing on Sunday
Howdy,
So you inspired me to actually work on some projects. I have five wedding quilts to work on so I guess I should get moving. We started work on Oralee's project and it's looking good. Here's some pics of some recent finishes.
This is Doug and Colleen's wedding quilt for July. Doug's a friend of Mr. Her from university. It's the strawberry marmalade tutorial that I had on my list from last year and it's made of scraps from Tenille's quilt.
Next, are a couple of iphone cozies that I crocheted to keep iphones from getting dirty in your purse.
Finally , there's a learning experience that I think will be an ugly car quilt. The front wasn't what I wanted so I just backed it on some fleece (which stretched- of course).
Can't wait to see more of your Barn Dance quilt.

Sewing on Saturday!!
So instead of finishing one of the many started projects I have sitting in the to do pile, I started another today!! I started 'Barn Dance' by Vanessa Christenson!
I'm using up all of the Hometown fabric scraps that I have to make it!
Here's what I've got done so far:
This is the top left hand square on the quilt. I'm going to work on the right hand top corner next!! I sure am glad I bought the Wonder Cut Ruler. It's so easy to make half square triangles now and quick too!!
I found another pattern that I really like:
I love the colours in it! It's made with Moda solids. It would be great using almost any colours or as a scrap quilt!! I might have to order this when it comes out in the April/May magazine!!
What have you been up to lately?

Another cowl...
Hi!!
I finished another cowl! It's from a pattern on Ravelry called the black hole cowl. It was really easy and quick to make.
I like this Bernat Softee Chunky yarn that I got at Wal-Mart. This is the second colour choice that I've used and really like! I may have to search online to see what other colours I can find!
What have you been up to lately??
I need to work on self portraits!!
